Google introduced New Feature - Nearby Share for Windows

Google introduced Nearby Share Feature for Windows Operating System

Google has introduced the Nearby Share feature for Windows PCs. Now users can share files hassle free using to download the dedicated app of Nearby Share.  Nearby Share is a lot like Apple's AirDrop, which is used to send files between Apple devices. In 2020 Google has first who brought this feature into the market. It was meant to aid users in sending files across different Android smartphones. But now, it will also be available for Windows PCs, and it would enable users to send big files to their computers in no time without any need for external cables.

Note that the feature has already been there for the Chromebooks.

Google announced now it’s easier to move images, videos, and other content between your Android phone and Windows PC with the new Nearby Share Beta version for Windows app. Similar to Apple’s AirDrop, the app allows Android devices and Windows PCs to quickly share files between each other without needing to resort to some of the top cloud storage apps like Google Drive.

How to download

You can download this app from the Android website and it's compatible with PCs running the 64-bit version of Windows 10 and up, so long as they're not powered by ARM processors. Additionally, devices should be within 5 meters (16 feet) of each other for the transfer to succeed.

The app only works for devices that have Nearby Share turned on, are close together and unlocked, and are logged into your Google account. When these circumstances are met, anything you're sharing is sent straightforwardly to the next gadget through this move technique. As is standard, any other individual should acknowledge each offer from your gadget.
